We have several exciting Virtual Worlds projects in the works right now, such as the Robotics Summer of Learning challenges, multiplayer support, and (eventually) a robot model importer (similar to the model importer already in use by the Level Builder). 3.0 annual licenses bought in 2013 can also be upgraded to 4.0 licenses at 50% cost reduction.ģ) I also highly recommend Virtual Worlds as well, but my opinion may be a little bit biased I do suggest trying out the trial version of Virtual Worlds to get a feel for the program. The good news, too, is that 3.0 perpetual licenses bought in 2013 can be upgraded to equivalent 4.0 licenses once 4.0 is released free of charge. There's a couple of quick things I'd like to note:ġ) The latest version of ROBOTC 3.0 will be valid for the upcoming FTC season we expect a ROBOTC 4.0 Beta version to be available in September with an official release some time this fall.Ģ) I normally recommend the Perpetual license if possible because it not only saves your team money over time, it allows you deactivate and move activations from one computer to another.
